FAQs
There are some common questions people ask before heading out on an excursion, we have compiled a list for you below. If you have questions that aren’t answered here, please contact us directly! This list will also be included in your booking conformation email.
When to Arrive?
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.
Where to Park?
Please park in the parking lot just past the Rockport Boat Club (directions). Additional parking can be found at Cramer Park (directions) just a short walk from the harbor.
What to wear?
Dress comfortably. It is often cooler on water than on land. We recommend that you bring layers, like a sweater, fleece, or light jacket. Also useful is a baseball type cap with visor, sunglasses and sunscreen. And, of course, don’t forget your camera!
May we bring along food and/or alcoholic beverages?
Yes – feel free to bring onboard with you any food, beer or wine that you’d like to. We provide water and a selection of soft drinks.
Is gratuity included?
If you have a great time onboard, feel free to show it. This is considered a tourism/service based industry where 15-20% tip is common. Your captain and crews will greatly appreciate it!
Is there a bathroom?
Yes, there is a bathroom on board, restrooms also available at harbor.
What happens if it rains?
In the case of a light drizzle, we’ll typically proceed with our excursion. There's a Norwegian saying “There is no bad weather, only bad clothes! If there is steady rain or inclement weather that would make a trip uncomfortable, we will usually cancel the trip and reschedule as needed.
What about our dog?
Well behaved dogs are welcome. Lifejackets are encouraged. Guests are responsible for pet waste. Some islands do have restrictions on dogs.
Can I smoke onboard?
There is no smoking of any kind allowed onboard.
Cancellation policy
If we must cancel the trip due to bad weather or unsafe conditions, we will provide you with a full refund. Cancelations made more than seven days prior to your reservation, will receive a full refund. If you cancel within the seven days prior to your reservation you will be issued a gift card to use at a later date. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 72 hours of your reservation. No refunds will be provided if you miss your reservation.
